CLIENT REQUEST: Truck pads are stolen at high rates, they all look the same, and they typically only serve one function. Let’s do better.
THE CHALLENGE: Make something that stands out in a world of ho-hum truck pads. It has to fit universally on all trucks and have a locking feature so it can’t be stolen. And while you’re at it, add something cool that will get consumers talking.
THE APPROACH: This one required some serious detailed tech pack documentation and design. We were sure to add a patented lock for safety, along with seats and a cooler when the tailgate is down for that wow factor.
THE RESULTS: A super awesome truck pad that transforms a standard pickup tailgate into a practical adventure hub, featuring a theft-proof locking carabiner, payload strap, detachable cooler and chairs, and anchor points for additional Cache accessories.
